Croatia’s Head Coach of Ai Ain First Team, Zoran Mamic, congratulated his players for the deserved win against Emirates FC. He emphasized: “Al Ain had a full control over the match and missed lots of chances in the opponent’s area and scored only two goals. Absolutely, we will improve our level during the coming matches.”

“First of all, I would like to assure you that I limit my focus onto my next match away from thinking about the future of the competition itself. Indeed, I have no clue about the level of performance required by Al Ain under the current circumstances we have been facing recently. As a matter of fact, earning three points does not require to score five goals in the net of the opponents,” said he in response to a question on his vision regarding the future of his team compared to their unimpressive performance and despite topping the standing table.

He added: “Football is not like the musical machine where you insert money into the slot to give you the melody or tone you desire to hear.” He concluded by saying: “Despite Al Ain’s unconvincing level according to certain people, Al Ain positioned themselves at the top of the standing table. We did play a strong match against Al Wasl despite the draw and we deservedly won the match against Shabab Al Ahli Dubai and everybody has the right express his own personal opinion.”
