The “Boss” was able to top the standing table of the Arabian Gulf League subsequent to winning the Emirates by 2-0 in the match held in Emirates Club Stadium in week 5 of the competition.

Al Ain took the lead over the home team by Rayan Yaslam’s goal at “39” in the first half before Brazil’s Caio Lucas boosted Al Ain’s lead with a second goal at “88”.

By this result, Al Ain tops the standing table by a balance of 13 points, while Emirates position is frozen at 4 points and moves backward to ninth place.

A Strong Start Off

Al Ain start by exerting pressure on Emirates from the beginning of the match and   Sweden’s international striker Marcus Berg was about to score when he faced the goalkeeper and released a powerful shot passed next to the post “4”.

Yousef Ahmed sent a fantastic cross from the right side to the well-positioned Rayan Yaslam inside the box of the “Falcons”, but Emirates’ player, Marwan Mohammed, succeeded to change the direction of the ball by a slight foot touch before Rayan saving his team from a guaranteed goal “14”.

Before going to the first break, Rayan was able to translate his team’s superiority when he scored the lead first goal receiving a stunning pass from Marcos Berg and did not hesitate a second to send the ball directly in the back nets of Emirates “39”.

Berg himself had a great chance to enhance the lead result by a second goal when he found himself facing the goalkeeper prior sending it powerfully next to the post “68”.

Two minutes before the end of the match, Brazil’s Caio Lucas was able to add the team’s second goal when he played a tactical spell with his compatriot Dyanfres Douglas inside the box. The latter fired a powerful shot and the goalkeeper failed to react with the ball well. His save parried the ball straight to Caio who tapped in to seal a win for the Boss “88”.
