Crushed Al Nasr by Clean 4 Goals.. The “Boss” Breaks Records for the “13th” Time in AGL History

Officially Al Ain becomes the winner of the title of Arabian Gulf League prior the last and final round following the team’s deserved victory over Al Naser by clean four goals in penultimate matchweek 21 of AGL held in Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Stadium in Al Aweer.

By this impressive win, the “Boss” leveraged its balance of points to be 50 pointes 7 clear of their nearest chasers, while Al Nasr who is placed 4th in the standing table with 36 points only.

The two teams played cautiously in the early minutes of the match until the 5th minute of the first half which witnessed the first explicit offence attempt when Al Nasr’ striker Marcelo Da Silva succeeded to find a space taking advantage of his speed to face Khaled Issa before sending a powerful shot but Khalid palmed it off elegantly.

Al Ain swiftly responded to Al Nasr’s attempt through Al Ain’s Captain Omar Abdul Rahman, who fired a “tricky” shot from the edge of the box but passed the right post by a whisker to be goal kick “6”.

The “Boss” waited long to take the lead at “35” minute of the match when Berg signed for the team’s first goal when he translated a deft pass sent by Al Ain’s Captain Omar Abdul Rahman to calmly put the ball into Al Nasr net.

Just as the game was headed toward the half time break, Berg popped up again, powering in a header after Caio Lucas curled cross from the left wing and Berg’s header crossed the line following hitting the post declaring a 2-0 lead for the Boss at “44”.

Marcus Berg magnificently added his hat-trick in the 62nd minute when outmuscled his marker to get on the end of Rayan Yaslam’s cross from the left wing sending his header ingeniously into the back net of Al Nasr goalkeeper announcing the superiority of the “Boss” and to make it 3-0.

“Amoory” was almost to deepen the wounds of Al Nasr when he fired a long-range shot hit the bar and sprang up and then out of the pitch “63”.

In stoppage time, Ahmed Khalil was able to translate a “charming” pass with Amoory’s foot into a fantastic goal that ended with the “Al Zaeem” quadrant in the net.

Ahmed Khalil rounded the scoring with Al Ain’s fourth in added time when he curled at the bottom corner to convert Omar Abdulrahman’s “charming” through pass following a quick break to complete the rout for the “Boss”.
