Al Ain’s international midfielder emphasized that Al Ain has a strong clash match against Al Nasr this coming Saturday. “The opponent has been exhibiting remarkable performance during the last seven rounds. However, we are meant to do our best to achieve the best positive result with all due respect to the home team and regardless of the pressure we are suffering from due to the tight busy schedule we have both locally and continentally,” said he. Commenting on a question on the team’s vibrant desire to clinch AGL’s title and celebrate on Saturday, he said: “Absolutely, we are playing next match against our opponent on their own turf with the ambition to win. Each game for us is no more than a final match where we do strive to exhibit our quality performance. I hope to play in the manner that corresponds to our own ambitions and make our fans happy as well.” He pointed out: “As for celebrations, it always ends as long as the match ends because we actually start preparations directly for the match that follows.”
Commenting on a question on excluding his name from the PLC awards of the current season given his stunning performance, he said: “I believe that there are committees tasked for assessing players’ performance and sure this question should be addressed to them. Indeed, each player wishes to be part of end of season awards, but I am so satisfied and happy by my level of performance and thanks go to the Head Coach, for his valuable instructions and my teammates’ assistance.” He concluded: “I am very happy that the “Boss” players are competing to win 10 awards and any individual award following being crowned with the title of the league is a credit for the whole team.”
