Thanking Al Ain Club’s Management for their Highly Appreciated Trust.. Zoran: Proud with My First Achievement with the “Boss” And Sure It Will Not Be the Last One

Croatia’s Zoran Mamic, Head Coach of Al Ain First Football Club, inaugurated the post-match press conference of the match between Al Ain and Al Nasr by saying: “We played a very strong match today and achieved a deserved victory and I will not tackle the technical details of the match.” He emotionally expressed his thanks to the team: “Congratulations to my team for clinching the title of the Arabian Gulf League. I extend my sincere thanks for all the Club’s admin, technical and medical staffs for their valuable contributions to put our hands on the trophy. I am so optimistic and hope to pursue our successes and be crowned with the titles of President’s Cup and AFC Champions League.

He added: “It is great that the team translated the efforts of the whole season and arrive at the end line of the competition by realizing an important achievement. I am so happy and proud by this achievement specially it is the first for me with the “Boss” and hope it will not be the last. Indeed, thanks go to Al Ain Club Management who granted me the chance to lead this great team and entrusted me with their full confidence.”

On the plan he set to put his hands on the title of AGL, he said: “We played today with sights set to win and exhibited our genuine level of performance that is consistent with the achievements of the team this season. Absolutely, the team conditions are at the best and we did paly 21 matches where we faced good and bad moments and experienced certain mistakes, as well as had certain injured players but by the end of the day we succeeded and achieved our goal.”

“Certainly, I have the intention to stay with Al Ain but as you know that any contract has two parties and negotiations with the Club are underway to renwe my contract,” commented he on a question on renewing his contract with the “Boss”.

When asked to address message to his team’s players, he said: “We do enjoy in Al Ain Club the spirit of the family whether with the management, players, technical and medical staff. Everybody understands that I live with them the tiny details of their lives and strive to sort them out. Also, it is not easy to select the main starting lineup each match; however, it is one of the priorities of my job and they all are well aware that I always try my best to select the best players for each match.”
He signed off by answering a question on his recommendation to the Club with regard to Ahmad Khalil stating: “I have already recommended him to stay with the team. He is a good player and can make the difference all times.”
