El Shahat: I Expect the Boss Receives Great Support in Cairo
In the pre-match press conference of the match between Al Ain and Al Wahda, Egypt’s international player emphasized that the Boss players are required to focus not only on tomorrow’s match but all the challenges awaiting them this new season. “There is no easy match in the world of football and Al Wahda was our strong opponent in the past season to clinch the title of the Arabian Gulf League.”
Commenting on a question on relocating the match from Al Salam Stadium to the Air Defense Stadium, he said: “Absolutely, I have great memories of Al Salam Stadium and add to that it few steps from my house. Indeed, in my last match I played in the Air Defense Stadium I scored a hattrick and I believe it is a great memorable moment, too.”
On selecting him to join Egypt’s National Football Team and the presence of the head coach in the standings observing his performance, he stated: “Indeed, I am so happy to rejoin the national team but my focus will be limited to add a value to my team and be able to do my best to achieve the ore-set targets and win the title.”
He added: “I am expecting a great support from the fans of the Boss in Egypt. I hope to see massive numbers of fans in the standings to enjoy the super match between two big competitors.”
