“Our focus now is on achieving the title of the Arabian Gulf League and make our loyal fans happy and then we will talk about the future as we are dealing with all matches based on a clear strategy and currently we have already closed the Asian chapter and our sights are set at the Arabian Gulf League,” said the star of Al Ain.

As for the team’s confrontation against Al Nasr. He stressed: “Our goal is to snatch the three points of the coming match against Al Nasr to put our hands on title of the league. So, we are required to be more focused and continue to perform well as we used to play strongly during all our past few years at the local and continental levels, especially as the opponent is not an easy team and this is evident throughout their last ten matches during which they performed well and achieved positive results.”

On his nomination for the Best Goalkeeper Award the “Golden Glove”, he said: “Absolutely, all players are so interested to win the title of the league which will be certainly the most important achievement for the team as a whole. As for the personal prizes, it will be awarded to those who deserve it, and personally I thank Allah for the successes that make me eligible to compete to win this award for the fourth consecutive season and it is a good thing to win such an important award. If I win the award, thanks are to go to Allah and then my teammates who had a role in making such an achievement possible.”
