Al Ain star goalkeeper expressed his pleasure for the achievement they did while explaining that his team deserved winning the opponent and to advance to the final match of the ClubWC. “I would like to thank all my teammates for they were up to the challenge and did their best to win River Plate.”
He added: “Winning the Match Award for the Match Best Man is a personal achievement, and this is the second time in this tournament he is honored to have it as the first award was in the opening match against New Zealand’s Team Wellington.”
On the importance of this achievement for the Al Ain FC and UAE as a hole, he said: “No doubt that such a big achievement is a new milestone for the team and the UAE football. We qualified to the final match and it is the biggest one ever at the level of world clubs. All Sights are spotting us, and everybody will watch our match. We defeated the North America’s Champs and Africa’s Champs. All of these evidences prove that we are a strong and quality team.”
He signed off saying “We are in the final match and we have to go forward and redouble our efforts to win the title.”
