Al Ain and UAE National Team defender, Mohammed Ahmad, stated that Al Nasr’s negative results in their first two matches of the Arabian Gulf League are not the right standard to assess Al Ain’s opponent level ahead of both teams’ confrontation scheduled on Friday. “We will push ourselves to the limit in the right manner and be highly focused to overcome the challenge we have with all due respect to the aspirations of Al Ameed.”

As for the reasons he did not play the match against Al Dhafra and the impact of the weather conditions, given that Al Ain’s international players have just joined the team following the end of the away training camp of UAE national team held in Spain, he said: “Definitely, weather is different from a country to another. Also, as players we are adapted to Al Ain’s paly style which is different from the national team and we only need short time to adapt to our head coach technical vision.” Mohammed Ahmad stressed “Coach Zoran knows well what is required for each match and in turn we do understand what we are meant to do. We belong to a big team and we are always committed to redouble our efforts and do our best to be fully ready and maintain our names in the team’s starting lineup.”
