MOHAMMED BIN THALOUB CONGRATS FRANCE AND INVITES ZLATKO DALIĆ TO ATTEND THE “BOSS’” GOLDEN JUBILEE FESTIVITIES
H.E. Mohammed Bin Thaloub Al Derei, Chairman of Al Ain Club Investment Company, addressed an open invitation to Zlatko Dalić, Head Coach of Croatia National Team and runners up of the World Cup 2018 and former Head Coach of Al Ain FC, to attend the Club’s celebrations scheduled to be held on December 2018 marking the Club’s Golden Jubilee.
Worth mentioning, Al Ain’s Golden Jubilee coincides with the participation of the “Boss” of UAE Football in the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2018 which will be held in Abu Dhabi the capital and Al Ain City following the stunning successes achieved by the UAE organizing committees through 2009, 2010 and 2017. The international competition will be held under the auspices of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council with the participation of 7 world’s champs of 2018 who will compete to clinch the most prestigious title. The matches of the championship are to be held during 12-22 December 2018 at Madinat Zayed Sports Stadium in Abu Dhabi and Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain City. The “Boss” qualified to FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2018 following winning the title of the Arabian Gulf League 2018 holding 50 points in their balance.
H.E. the Chairman of Al Ain Club Investment Company stated: “We are inviting Coach Zlatko Dalić as a sign of appreciation and gratitude for his stunning impact on his squad in the game’s showpiece which was concluded yesterday in Russia marked by an unprecedent successful organization.” He underscored: “Indeed, the unsung heroes of Croatia ended as runners-up and won the silver medals which is a remarkable and historical achievement and never happened before in their country’s football history. France team deserved to be congratulated despite the Croats’ domination of the whole match according to the technical statistics displayed on FIFA official website. The figures of these statistics highlighted the superiority of the Croatian team who were not lucky enough in the final match. Yet, France won due to certain individual mistakes committed by the Croatian team and they invested in them professionally relying heavily on the players’ quality skills and the experience of the “Roosters” Team who won their second cup in their history. France has a wholly new young squad under the command of Deschamps who led his side to a dramatic victory yesterday. Deschamps became the third man in history to capture football’s greatest prize as both a player and a manager. The former midfielder had captained France to their only other world crown, in 1998. Meanwhile, Russia World Cup 2018 introduced new stars where Luka Modric won the Golden Ball as the best player in Russia World Cup 2018 to be one of the players who will be competing to win the World Golden Ball.”

Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Derei underscored Russia’s exceptional organizational efforts by stating: “Russia deserved the Excellence Cup for such a stunning and unique arrangements and organization that received superior commendation from everyone despite the security concerns that preceded the kick off of the competition. However, Moscow accepted the challenge to deliver an exceptional edition and to gain the respect of the whole globe.” He added: “I referred to Russia’s ability in a previous statement as I stressed that Russia is capable of organizing an exemplary tournament that will definitely win the appreciation of the whole world countries, the participating teams and the massive numbers of fans travelling from all over the globe to attend this global event. I was right, and Russia was able to prove their supreme organizational capabilities in all areas. All fans are flying back to their homelands with a big smile on their faces that reflects their top satisfaction on the Russian hospitality and organization precision following experiencing great moments that they will always cherish.”
