Al Ain “international” Tunisian defender Yassine Meriah stressed that it is essential for Al Ain to win the derby match against Al Wahda, considering it will be held at home and among our fans.
In the pre-match press conference of matchweek 6 of ADNOC Pro League, Meriah pointed out that such matches that bring two big clubs together have their peculiarities, and usually, they are challenging ones.
He added: “In derbies, players are usually ready mentally and physically. However, we did close the chapter of the Al Orooba match as the coaching teams addressed all mistakes committed in our recent match against Al Orooba. We also closed the chapters of the past four victories and deal now with each match as it is a final one.”
