Al Ain U-21 Football Team downed their home team, Al Sharjah Team, and on their turf and among their fans by 2-1 result of the matchweek 8 of the U-21 Arabian Gulf League held at the Mohammed bin Rashid in Al Sharjah Club.

The first half of the match ended by goalless draw, but it took the Boss’ players only one minute to take the lead “46” through Abdullah Mazen. However, the King responded swiftly within three minutes to level up the result to be 1-1 through Saeed Al Ka’abi “49”. In the added-on time, the Boss regained the lead and scored their second goal in 90+3 through Ahmad Jamal.

By this result, the Boss opened the gap to 8 points and topped the standing table with 24 points in their balance. meanwhile, Al Sharjah is temporarily placed in the second spot.

The matchweek 8 round witnessed great results as the Emirates won Al Nasr by 3-2, while Al Dhafra lost to Bani Yas by 1-4. Ajman was the only team to draw with Kalaba 1-1 each.

This round is scheduled to be concluded on Saturday 3rd November by holding three matches: Al Jazira against Dibba, Al Wasl against Al Fujairah and Al Wahda against Shabab Al Ahli.
