Zoran: Winning is Al Ain’s Slogan in Kalba Match

Zoran Mamic, the Head Coach of Al Ain FC, stressed the importance of winning the match against Kalba and that the team is looking forward to concluding this season in the best manner before the team’s fans and show them high respect with all due respect to our opponent. He added that we aim also to improve the team’s position on the standing table of this competition and hope that results of the other competitors will be in our advantage to serve us to win one of the qualifying cards for the AFC Champions League to represent UAE besides it is Al Ain’s most preferable competition.

In the pre-match press conference, he indicated that, “We are well aware that our opponent in this match has no option except to demonstrate the fighting spirit before Al Ain in order to retain their position in the strongest local competition and avoid relegation, especially as he is well aware of the capabilities of the team that Al Ain will face this coming Saturday.”

Commenting on a question on potential absences during this coming match, he said, “We should not think of absences as we are approaching the end of the season, particularly the team currently has several options in different positions. This is apparent since the young players prove that they are up to the confidence vested in them to defend Al Ain logo. We have to focus on granting these players more chances and make use of their potentials in the way that serve the team’s interest and its great future. We have to help them gain the required experience through offering them as much chances as we could by playing shoulder to shoulder with their teammates.”
