Al Ain Champion Khaled Al Shahi wins the Gold at the Asian Beach Games in Sanya

Khaled Al Shahi, star of Al Ain Jiu-Jitsu Club and the UAE national jiu-jitsu team, gifted the United Arab Emirates another continental achievement after winning the gold medal at the Asian Beach Games hosted in Sanya, China, in 2026.

Al Shahi secured first place following a series of powerful bouts in which he showcased exceptional technical skill and outstanding fighting spirit, overcoming some of Asia’s top competitors and reaffirming his status as one of the most prominent talents in jiu-jitsu at both the local and international levels.

This latest achievement reflects “Al Zaeem’s” continued success in supplying the national teams with champions capable of reaching the podium. It also comes as a result of the unlimited support provided by the management of Al Ain Jiu-Jitsu Club for combat sports, along with the provision of all necessary resources to ensure the club and the UAE are represented in the best possible way at international events.
