Al Ain, Bahrain’s Al Nasr, and Qatar’s Al Rayyan Secure Wins at the International Junior Volleyball Championship

Al Ain defeated Kuwait’s Al Qadsia 3–0, securing its second victory in the third round of the International Junior Volleyball Championship and continuing its challenge for the top positions.

The International Junior Volleyball Championship, organized by Al Ain Club under the patronage of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, in strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and in technical cooperation with the UAE Volleyball Federation, continues at the Khalifa bin Zayed Sports Hall in Al Ain.

The first match saw Bahrain’s Al Nasr continue its positive results by defeating Kuwait’s Burgan 3–0, securing its third consecutive victory since the start of the championship and maintaining its strong presence in the competition.

The “Qatari clash” ended with Al Rayyan defeating Al Arabi 3–1 after a strong encounter between the two teams strengthening its position in the competition.

Three matches will be played tomorrow Thursday, between Al Ain and Bahrain’s Al Nasr, followed by Qatar’s Al Rayyan and Kuwait’s Burgan, concluding with the match between Qatar’s Al Arabi and Kuwait’s Al Qadsia.

The organizing committee confirmed the rising levels of technical performance among the players of the participating teams, as the competition approaches decisive stages in the race for the top positions and to strengthen the chances of determining the champion.

It noted that the competition continues according to the approved schedule, amid comprehensive organizational and technical readiness, praising the sporting atmosphere that has characterized the championship since its launch and the players’ high spirits.
