06.May.2020
Al Ain Sports Games Club has recently announced the extension of the contract of Al Ain Men Volleyball head coach, Montenegro Veselin Vesko, for further three seasons with sights set to achieve the pre-set desired aspirations, given that the “Boss” is scheduled to play in fierce home and away competitions.
Worth mentioning, coach Vesko succeeded in pushing the team to the limit and competing to win the league trophy by qualifying to the quarterfinal stage. Also, he was able to maintain the team’s technical stability and spread the one team spirit among the players.
Furthermore, a decision was taken to extend the contract of the Colombian superstar Liberman Cristhofer Agámez for one additional season. His contract was signed in early March 2020, but he did not play any match due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic and the suspension of all sports activity in UAE. The Colombian star enjoys a sound exalted experience worldwide.
Also, Cuba’s Lazaro Yoelves Brunet signed to Al Ain Sports Games Club to play in the youth category as of the next season.
in his turn, Abdullah Jumaa Al Darmaki, Vice President of Al Ain Sports Games Club and the General Supervisor of Al Ain Volleyball Team, stressed that the technical stability is an essential requirement and the secret behind the success of the sports system in clubs. “This concept motivated us to take this step by renewing the contract of the head coach for the next three seasons and the contract of the Colombian Agámez for another season.”
He added: “We have observed that since the head coach Vesko assumed his responsibilities as of late November, the team witnessed a noticeable improvement in their performance, and this is made us decide to renew his contract, given that we look forward to putting firm hands-on trophies of next season following losing our final match in both the “Super” Cup and the Vice-President’s Cup and prior suspending the Volleyball League and the President’s Cup due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic worldwide.”
“We also extended to the contract of the Colombian Lieberman Agámez for a further season. He did not have the opportunity to play with the team for suspending all sports activities in the UAE. Indeed, he is a distinguished player and is one of the best players in the world in the game and will be a significant added value to the Boss,” Al Darmaki said.
As for the preparations for the next season, if the league and cup competitions are canceled this season, Al Darmaki stated: “We have taken all the necessary arrangements to build the Boss future team by joining new young professional faces to have a strong kickoff in the coming season.”
“The head coach developed a well-established plan to fulfill the desired aspirations and to add new achievements to the history of the Boss. We have full concentration on young players to ensure promoting the significant players to the first team and be the backbone of the Boss volleyball team.”
Al Darmaki pointed out that individual players of the first team would leave with their heads high and proud of all the achievements they realized and titles they won with the Boss, the difficult team to outperform in UAE.
