H.E. Khamis Obaid Al Ka’abi, Chairman of Al Ain Sports Games Company, received the Swimming Association delegation headed by H.E. Sultan Saif Al Samahi, President of UAE Swimming Association, Jumaa Saeed Al Bloushi, Vice President of President of UAE Swimming Association, and Maryam Al Shamesi, Member of the Board of Directors of UAE Swimming Association.
The delegation was also received by Khuwaiter Al Dhahiri, Board Member of Al Ain Sports Games Company, Abdul Aziz Al Junaibi, Board Member of Al Ain Sports Games Company and Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Sports Director of Al Ain Sports Games Company.
During the important meeting held during the visit, the attendees tackled means of developing swimming sport in the State in general and women’s sports in particular. Following the meeting, the delegation accompanied by H.E. the Chairman and members of Al Ain Sports Games Company toured Hazza bin Zayed Stadium to see the lofty sports stadium where the matches of the World Cup for Clubs 2017 were held.
H.E. Khamis Obaid Al Ka’abi expressed his deep appreciation to the President of UAE Swimming Association and the accompanying delegation for the splendid initiative which will lead to achieving good results in the interest of UAE sports in the future.
Al Ka’abi emphasized that there are new ideas that will be put forward regarding women’s sport and how to activate their role more effectively through the upcoming meetings with the delegation of the Swimming Association. He pointed out that Al Ain Club welcomes all individual and collective sports Associations to visit the club and address ideas that contribute to the revitalization of sports in UAE.
H.E. President of the Swimming Association hailed the efforts of the Club expressing his pleasure by the fruitful cooperation with Al Ain Club which is the first professional sports entity in UAE.
Al Samahi pointed out that the aim of the visit is to develop swimming sport at UAE level and to support clubs to achieve the desired goals in the coming future.
