Hazza Bin Zayed: Emirate Children’s Day is A New Step to Develop Childhood Strategies

H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has expressed his appreciation to H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, for her great responsibility of supporting families and child care.

In a post in his official Twitter account, Sheikh Hazza stated: “Children deserve all kinds of care and support from all of us. They are the fertile land in which nations grow and flourish. The Emirate Children’s Day is a new milestone in raising awareness and creating opportunities and strategies for children in the UAE.

He added: “For our mother and Mother of all UAE, we express our appreciation and pride as based on her wise vision, support and insightful care numerous exceptional woman’s and child’s initiatives were launched. The Emirate Children’s Day marked a new milestone in raising awareness, creating opportunities and developing child-related strategies in UAE.”

Noteworthy, The UAE Ministerial Council for Development chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and under the guidance of the President of the General Women’s Union and the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, assigned 15th March every year to celebrate the Emirat Children’s Day and establish a culture of care and protection for the child, in conjunction with the adoption of a new child law issued by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in 2016.
