Al Ain Sports Games Company sealed their last deals of the season by finalizing the on-loan contract of the Emirati international Khalid Hamza, the former player of Shabab Al Ahli Dubai.

The Company also announced that Ukraine’s international player Timofii Poluian has already signed a one-season contract to Ain Volleyball Team.

Tim, 22 years old,  played for several teams in China, Croatia, and Slovenia and won many titles with his clubs. He won the Best Player Award of the Slovenian volleyball league 2018-2019.

Timofii Poluian will play shoulder to shoulder with Al Ain Team’s professional players Colombia’s Cristopher Liberman and Cuban Cuba Lazaro.

Belharith Replaces Abu Gazaleh in Leading Al Ain Handball Team

Al Ain Sports Games Company has recently announced that the Tunisian head coach Adnan Belharith signed to Al Ain Handball Team replacing the former coach Mohammed Ali Abu Gazaleh.

In recognition of the former Tunisian head coach Mohammed Ali Abu Gazaleh dedicated efforts, Al Ain Sports Games Company and the Al Ain Handball Team family extended their sincerest appreciation and gratitude wishing him the best of luck in his future career. They all highlighted his significant contributions, most importantly, nurturing the talented players and introducing them to the first young team, in addition to winning the UAE Cup League this season and being placed as runner-up in the friendly championship organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.

For his part, the Board Member of Al Ain Sports Games Company and the General Supervisor of Al Ain Handball Team, Saleh Al Shouaili, expressed his appreciation to the coach Muhammad Ali Abu Gazaleh for all his accomplishments over the past four years he spent with the team.

In his statement to Al Ain’s official website, Al Shouaili expressed his pleasure for having the coach Adnan Belharith onboard this current season, considering that he used to be the head coach of Al Ain Handball Team.

Saleh stated: “Appointing the new head coach based on the pre-set plan developed by the team management to advance handball game further and to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the Club’s Board of Directors and the fans.”

He also hailed the new coach’s qualities by saying: “Belharith enjoys a brilliant CV and a significant experience in the local, gulf and Arab regions and above all, he used to be the head coach of the Al Ain Handball Team and won the Cup League in 2012. He also won the African Championship as a player and coach and participated in the World Cup as a player and then as assistant coach of Tunisia’s National Team.”

Responding to a question on the date of resuming the new season, Saleh Al Shouaili said: “We are still waiting for the decision to resume the League matches based on the provisional decision to resume them in early September. We have to prepare for the season as of the beginning of next August. It is planned to kick off the preseason preparations by conducting the essential medical checkups and back to training sessions.”

Al Ain Extends Contracts of Both Coach Veselin and Colombian Agámez Al Darmaki: Stability is the Secret Behind the Success of Sports System in Clubs

Al Ain Sports Games Club has recently announced the extension of the contract of Al Ain Men Volleyball head coach, Montenegro Veselin Vesko, for further three seasons with sights set to achieve the pre-set desired aspirations, given that the “Boss” is scheduled to play in fierce home and away competitions.

Worth mentioning, coach Vesko succeeded in pushing the team to the limit and competing to win the league trophy by qualifying to the quarterfinal stage. Also, he was able to maintain the team’s technical stability and spread the one team spirit among the players.

Furthermore, a decision was taken to extend the contract of the Colombian superstar Liberman Cristhofer Agámez for one additional season. His contract was signed in early March 2020, but he did not play any match due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic and the suspension of all sports activity in UAE. The Colombian star enjoys a sound exalted experience worldwide.

Also, Cuba’s Lazaro Yoelves Brunet signed to Al Ain Sports Games Club to play in the youth category as of the next season.

in his turn, Abdullah Jumaa Al Darmaki, Vice President of Al Ain Sports Games Club and the General Supervisor of Al Ain Volleyball Team, stressed that the technical stability is an essential requirement and the secret behind the success of the sports system in clubs. “This concept motivated us to take this step by renewing the contract of the head coach for the next three seasons and the contract of the Colombian Agámez for another season.”

He added: “We have observed that since the head coach Vesko assumed his responsibilities as of late November, the team witnessed a noticeable improvement in their performance, and this is made us decide to renew his contract, given that we look forward to putting firm hands-on trophies of next season following losing our final match in both the “Super” Cup and the Vice-President’s Cup and prior suspending the Volleyball League and the President’s Cup due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic worldwide.”

“We also extended to the contract of the Colombian Lieberman Agámez for a further season. He did not have the opportunity to play with the team for suspending all sports activities in the UAE. Indeed, he is a distinguished player and is one of the best players in the world in the game and will be a significant added value to the Boss,” Al Darmaki said.

As for the preparations for the next season, if the league and cup competitions are canceled this season, Al Darmaki stated: “We have taken all the necessary arrangements to build the Boss future team by joining new young professional faces to have a strong kickoff in the coming season.”

“The head coach developed a well-established plan to fulfill the desired aspirations and to add new achievements to the history of the Boss. We have full concentration on young players to ensure promoting the significant players to the first team and be the backbone of the Boss volleyball team.”

Al Darmaki pointed out that individual players of the first team would leave with their heads high and proud of all the achievements they realized and titles they won with the Boss, the difficult team to outperform in UAE.

Al Ain Club has officially announced that a decision has been taken to add the fifth game to the collective games practiced by the Club and to be supervised by the Al Ain Sports Games Company.

 

The official announcement was made during a press conference held on Wednesday 19th February 2020 at the Chairman’s Lounge at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club. The media conference was attended by H.E. Khamis Obaid Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports Games Company, Saleh Al Shouaili, Member of the Board of Directors, Abdul Aziz Al Junaibi, Member of the Board of Directors and Ahmed Sultan Al Nuaimi, Sports Director, Walid Salem Al Jabri, Futsal Team Supervisor, Ahmed Saleh, assistant coach, and a number of the team players.

 

At the beginning of the conference, H.E. Khamis Al-Kaabi expressed his pleasure by adding a new game to the other existing four games. “This move would enhance the club’s policies in caring for collective games, and the great successes it achieved in all sports levels.”

 

Al Kaabi said: “We always look forward to achieving excellence in Al Ain Club, especially that we are the home of football in UAE. Additionally, we have realized significant achievements in many games, and we work hard to make it possible to have futsal present in the Club and to participate in local competitions. This comes as a result of the genuine belief that it is an important game given that many residents of Al Ain play it.”

 

Khamis stressed that Al Ain Club aims to participate in all games. He said: “Our wise leadership in the UAE recommended us to support the athletes and take care of them and create the appropriate atmosphere for them to compete and practice those sports. We hope that the futsal team will follow the steps of the first football team in clinching titles at the local, continental and global levels.”

 

Walid Salem Al Jabri, the Futsal Team Supervisor, expressed his sincere appreciation for Al Ain Sports Games Company for launching the futsal game as the new game at the Club and the massive and unlimited support for young people who love this sport.

 

Walid said: “We are happy with the formation of the futsal team of Al Ain Club. Indeed, the idea was there for a long time, but due to inevitable circumstances, the Club management deferred launching it officially. We look forward to participating in local tournaments during this upcoming period. We are scheduled to participate in the President’s Cup that will be kicked off in late March 2020.”

 

Al Jabri stressed that they sought in the previous period to prepare the team to participate ass soon as they have a specialized coaching team who enjoys the required experience in this game and to have players who love this sport.

 

He underlined that the main focus in the current period is only to participate and gain experience. “The next stage would be focusing on winning matches and titles.

Al Ain Volleyball Team is Geared Up for the Arabian Gulf Volleyball Cup 37

The Al Ain Volleyball Men Team is scheduled to fly to Kuwait on Sunday 2nd February 2020 to participate in the Arabian Gulf Volleyball Cup 37.

The championship will be kicked off on 4th February and extends until 10th February. Six clubs are participating in the 37th edition of the championship, namely: Kuwait (the host), Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, Oman’s Al Seeb, Bahrain’s Dar Klaib, and Qatar’s Police Team.

Al Ain delegation is headed by H.E. Khamis Obaid Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports Games Company, accompanied by Saleh Al Shuaili and Abdul Aziz Al Junaibi, Board Members of Al Ain Sports Games Company, Abdullah Zuweid Al Nuaimi, Team Manager, Montenegro Visco, head coach, Dr. Rajab Kotb, Yasser Farouk, physiotherapist, Ali Salem Al Manea, volleyball referee, and 13 players.

The “Boss” concluded its training sessions on Friday 31st January. The head coach and the assistant coaching team strived to ensure the squad is fully ready and fit for the upcoming championship and perform well against opponents while representing the UAE honorably.

Noteworthy, the Boss squad enhanced its lines by signing the new Bahraini player, Nasser Anan, player of the Bahrain’s Al Ahli Volleyball Team and the Bahrain National Volleyball Team, to participate with the team as a Gulf player in the 37th edition. The team also has the Tunisian international professional player Hamza Al Naqa, who has been with the team since the kickoff of the current season.

The Al Ain Volleyball Team is scheduled to play against the home team Kuwait Volleyball Team on 4th February. The second match will be against Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal on 5th February, and the third match is scheduled to be played on 7th February against the Qatar’s Police Volleyball Team. The fourth match will be against Bahrain’s Dar Klaib. The Boss will play their final game against Oman’s Al Seeb on 10th February and to fly back home on 11th February.

Ibrahim Al Blooshi: We Vowed to Win the Title this Season

The Captain of the Al Ain Volleyball Team, Ibrahim Al Blooshi, who was the happiest player by the achievement, said: “We are delighted to win the long-awaited title, especially we were able to win the cup after eight years when we won the UAE Handball Association Cup.”

Al Blooshi stated that all the players vowed to perform honorably this current season and to win the title. “We fulfilled our promise by determination and efforts exerted by the players and the coaching and administrative teams since the first round of the championship.”

He concluded his statement by saying: “We will fight and push ourselves to the limit to win the President’s Cup. Indeed, our return to the coronation podiums is of an added value to the UAE handball, and we promise that the future will be promising.”

Saleh Al Shouaili: Winning the Championship is a Declaration of the Boss Return to Victories Track

Saleh Al Shouaili, Board Member of Al Ain Sports Games Company and Team’s Supervisor confirmed that winning the UAE Handball Cup is only the Boss’ return to the coronation podiums.

“We are thrilled that the team has new young players who prove that they could make it and be a promising team. Their performance today against a big team like Al Nasr is stunning. Al Nasr is a quality team with the majority of players play for the UAE National Handball Team. Winning such a team gives us hope, and hard work would not stop at this point,” Al Shouaili said.

The Al Ain Board Member stated the team suffers from inevitable setbacks, but the coaching team would handle them in the upcoming period.

He also stated that the Club’s management would enhance the squad with the new best players. “The Boss accepts only to be first and shines all times. This victory is the first step in the right direction towards clinching new titles and be back to coronation podiums.”

Al Kaabi said: “We all are very happy for winning this championship, given the fact that it took us some time to win the titles and hope that it will be a motivation for the team to get back on the victories track.”

Al Kaabi took the opportunity to extend his sincere appreciation to the squad stars and the coaching and administrative teams. “We fully trust the potentials and quality skills of the head coach, Tunisia’s Mohamed Abu Ghazaleh, along with the assistant coaches. The Boss Men Handball Clinches the Title of the UAE Handball Cup

Al Ain Handball Men Team was crowned as champs of the UAE Handball Cup following beating Al Nasr Handball Team by 24-22 in the final match held at the Maliha Club indoor court in Sharjah.

The crowning ceremony was attended by H.E. Mohamed Al Julfar, President of the UAE Handball Association and H.E. Khamis Obaid Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Al Ain Sports Games Company, Abdullah Al Darmaki, Vice-Chairman of Al Ain Sports Games Company, Saleh Al Shouaili, Board Member of Al Ain Sports Games Company and the Team’s Supervisor, Abdul Aziz Al Junaibi, Board Member of Al Ain Sports Games Company, and members of the UAE Handball Association.

Noteworthy, the Boss has achieved a new record by winning all its matches and clinching full 15 points. This the 12th cup to be added to the cups closet. The team won the league cup four times, President’s Cup 5 times, and the UAE Association Cup twice.

H.E. Khamis Obaid Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports Games Company, honored on Sunday evening at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium Hall in Al Ain Club, the winners of medals of individual games, including jujitsu, athletics, and swimming games.

The honoring event was attended by members of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports Games Company, Saleh Al Shouaili, Khwaiter Al Dhahiri, the Sports Director Ahmed Sultan Al Nuaimi, and Mohamed Arabi, Director of the Individual Games along with the coaching teams and administrative staff of the individual games.

 

H.E. Khamis Obaid Al Kaabi, Chairman of Al Ain Club for Sports Games, expressed his appreciation for the players’ dedicated and continuous efforts of the players, coaching teams and administrative staff during the previous competitions. “These sincere efforts led the players to achieve these accomplishments and medals.”

He added: “This honor means a lot to them, especially they have done their best to reach this stage and won the top positions. We hope that they will maintain this level of excellence and double their efforts in the coming seasons to clinch more titles.”

He explained that such a festive atmosphere is evidence that family bonding is the most prominent feature in the Al Ain Club’s work system.

“Indeed, this is one of the most important success factors and elements that help the club implements the programs, plans, and strategies drawn to fulfill the desired aspirations and keep pace with signs of the world of professionalism,” Al Kaabi said.
