The news on establishing the new Al Ain Media Company that comprises a TV channel and a media training center in partnership with Al Abdool Media Company attracted a significant attention of observers and experts in sports media locally and internationally.

The sport fans in UAE in general and the Ainawi Nation in particular interacted with the news on launching the Al Ain TV channel enthusiastically. They all commended the vision of the channel in covering all sport events and activities of Al Ain Club along with the Garden City and UAE news in general.

H.E. Mohammed Bin Thaloub Al Derie, Chairman of Al Ain Club Investment Company, availed the opportunity to commend the the novel idea of establishing Al Ain Media Company as a new milestone in the history of the club and as a comprehensive media system that reflects the outset of a private and independent television channel along with a media training center aims to attract and qualify media talented individuals.

Bin Thaloub stated: “We hope that Al Ain Media Company will be a new milestone in the history of the club exactly like other international big clubs. The channel is meant to serve the society and the fans of the club directly and indeed the Ainawi Nation deserves more than that.”

Al Ain Football Club has officially announced the establishment of the Al Ain Media Company with a head office at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium (HBZS). The company includes an integrated system of a private independent TV channel along with a Media Training Center to attract and qualify the talented. Al Ain TV will chart the team’s progress from the start of the 2019/2020 UAE season starting next month, the club said.

The newfangled project is a novel investment arm representing the integrated media sector that adopts modern work mechanism and keeps pace with the state-of-the-art ideas in this industry while considering the extensive developments and transformations. The channel is meant to be a unique reflection of the club’s strategies and achievements exactly like the club’s international counterparts and to play a key role in facilitating a direct two-way channel of communication with its loyal fans.

Al Ain Club unveils that a partnership agreement has been signed with “Al Abdool Media” in the presence of Hamad Nukhirat Al Ameri, the club’s managing director, along with a number of the stars of the first football team. The agreement was signed by Sultan Hamad Ahmed Almutawa Al Dhaheri, Board Member of Al Ain Club Investment Company, and Suhail Al Abdool, Chairman of Al Abdool Media Company.

Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Wednesday inaugurated one of the world’s largest offshore oil platforms – the Umm Lulu Gas Treatment Plant (ULGTP), in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.

The platform was made in the UAE by the National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), a part of Senaat, for ADNOC.

H.H. Sheikh Hazza expressed his pride in the new national milestone achievement in the manufacturing and energy sectors and described it as a model for the national industry. He stressed that the wise direction of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, coupled with the committed efforts of national talent are the driving force of this extraordinary achievement and emphasised the determination of Emiratis.

The Umm Lulu Gas Treatment Platform (ULGTP), weighing 32,000 metric tonnes (MT), is one of five platforms fully manufactured by the NPCC at its fabrication yard in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi. This is part of an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contract awarded by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to NPCC, in consortium with TechnipFMC, for the Umm Lulu Package 2 Full Field Development (Process Facilities).

The ULGTP will mainly handle gas including compression, dehydration and sweetening, and forms a key part of ADNOC’s Umm Lulu Field infrastructure. The field will have an oil production capacity of more than 100,000 barrels per day in 2020, supporting ADNOC’s strategy of increasing it production capacity from 3 to 5 million bpd by 2030.

Dr. Sultan Al Jaber said: “The completion of this key infrastructure asset marks another significant milestone for ADNOC as we drive oil production capacity towards four million barrels per day by end of 2020, delivering on our smart growth strategy and meeting increasing global demand for energy. In line with the guidance of the UAE’s wise Leadership, this achievement also underpins ADNOC’s critical role in enabling in-country value creation and economic diversification.

Dr. Mohamed Rashed Al Hameli, Chairman of NPCC, said: “The ULGTP project is the largest to date undertaken by NPCC and was led by a team of passionate Emirati nationals committed to achieving the nation’s vision to be one of the best countries in the world in exporting energy solutions. Building on our legacy of 46 years of operations in Abu Dhabi, and through our global engineering centres, we are pioneers in meeting the various requirements of the oil and gas sector in the UAE and the region. Our technological developments and digital transformation have brought a qualitative leap in the manufacturing sector. This achievement will further establish us as a partner of choice for energy majors globally.”

As consortium leader for the major Umm Lulu Field, NPCC is responsible for the detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, offshore installation, commissioning and start-up of a large offshore super complex. The super complex includes an Accommodation Platform (ULAP), Utilities Platform (ULUP), Water Disposal Platform (UMWDP), Separation Platform (ULSP), Riser Platform (ULRP) and the Gas Treatment Platform (ULGTP) – all made in the UAE by NPCC. The total weight of the super complex is over 102,648 metric tonnes (MT).

Earlier, NPCC had commissioned eight platforms for Umm Lulu Package 1. The two phases mark an investment of over AED 9.18 billion (US$2.5 billion). The contract also includes the laying of over 2,555 kilometres of cable and 150 kilometres of pipeline by NPCC. Substantial in-country value of the total investment supports UAE companies that are partnering in the development of the full-field.

Nearly as tall as London’s Big Ben, the ULGTP measures 77.7 metres x 83.5 metres. It was built by a global team of experts including Emirati engineers and professionals. All raw materials were predominantly sourced from within the UAE. Emirates Steel was the major supplier of steel while the project was supported by over 35 specialised engineering studios and more than 500 suppliers.

The ULGTP will now set sail to the Umm Lulu Field, following which NPCC will undertake commissioning work, including the installation of the fixed platform using the float-over method. NPCC’s manufacturing yard, which spans an area of over 1.3 million square metres, is the largest in the Middle East and can fabricate up to 100,000 MT of structural steel annually.

Khamis Obaid Al Ka’abi, Chairman of Al Ain Sports Games Company, expressed his deepest gratitude and sincerest appreciation to H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the First Vice President of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, and the First Vice President of Honorary Board, and Chairman of Al Ain Football Company, for renewing his trust in the Board of Directors of the Al Ain Sports Games Company for an additional period. H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the First Vice President of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, and the First Vice President of Honorary Board, has issued a resolution forming a new board of directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club.

According to the resolution, the board will be chaired by H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed himself. Members of the new board are Thaloub Salim Al Derei (Chairman of the Board of Al Ain Club Investment Company), Matar Rashed Mohammed Al Darmaki (Chairman of the Board of Al Ain Football Company), Khamis Obaid Al Ka’abi (Chairman of the Board of Al Ain Sports Games Company) and Hamad Nukhirat Al Ameri (Managing Director of Ain Sports and Cultural Club).

Meanwhile, Sheikh Hazza issued another resolution forming the Boards of Directors of the companies affiliated with Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club.

The resolution appointed Matar Rashed Mohammed Al Darmaki chairman of the board of Al Ain Football Company, Khaled Abdulla Hasan Hamarain Aldhaheri, Deputy Chairman of the Board, and Matar Ghumran Obaid Matar Aldhaheri, Salem Mohammed Humaid Salem Aljneibi and Majid Hamad Abdalla Sultan Alowais as members of the board.

Additionally, Thaloub Salim Al Dere’e was appointed Chairman of the Board of Al Ain Club Investment Company, while Khalifa Yousif Abdulla Husain Khouri was appointed deputy chairman of the board, and Khalifa Yousif Abdulla Husain Khouri, Saeed Saif Hamarain Almheiri and Ahmed Amer Omar as members of the board.

The resolution also appointed Khamis Obaid Al Ka’abi Chairman of the Board of Al Ain Sports Games Company, with Abdullah Juma Al Darmaki as Deputy Chairman of the board. Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Jenaibi, Saleh Saeed Al Sha’eeli, Khuwaiter Saeed Al Dhaheri were appointed as members of the board.

H.H. Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed also issued a resolution appointing Hamad Nukhirat Al Ameri as the Managing Director of the Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club and its companies.

Al Ain Jujitsu delegation has arrived in Mosco on the evening of Thursday to take part in the Abu Dhabi Grand Salm Jujitsu Championships secluded to be kicked off on Saturday and Sunday 15 & 16 June 2019.

The Moscow tour will launch the new version of the global championship in terms of the value of the prizes which reaches $ 225,000 per round, in addition to the new technical system that included the cancellation of the white belt, Master 3 and 4 and the adoption of the 120 kg weight as of Saturday’s rounds.

The tournament starts on Friday 13th June with admin issues, including identifying the weight of each player holding the blue belt and the level that they will take part in. As for the weight of other players holding other belts, it will be completed on Saturday 14th June.

Also, the schedule of Saturday includes holding the competitions of the King of Mats where the blue belt confrontations kick off at 10:30 a.m. until 03:00 p.m. and excitement begins when the top ten players in the world participate in the competitions of the “Abu Dhabi King of Mats” that will kick off at 03:30 p.m. and continue for three hours until 06:30 p.m.

For the purpose of collecting more points in this current version of the competition, Al Ain Team participates with 14 male and female players.

(WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

He also extended greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the Supreme Council Members, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers on the occasion and wished continued prosperity and stability for the homeland.
