In a thrilling clash match, the Al Ain First Volleyball Team won Al Nasr Team by 3-2 in matchweek 4 of the Premier Volleyball League held at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club.

Al Ain dominated the first round and won the visitors by 25-21. Al Nasr were able to return to the match and to win the second and third rounds by 25-20 and 25-23 respectively. Al Ain strongly responded to losing the two rounds and won the fourth round by 26-24. In the critical fifth round, the Boss with great determination defeated Al Nasr by 15-13 to win the match by 3-2.

Al Ain Volleyball team will resume their training sessions in preparation for matchweek 5 against Shabab Al Ahli Dubai scheduled to be held on Friday 21 December 2018 at the indoor court of Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Club.

The Al Ain First Volleyball Team are done with their pre-preparations for matchweek 4 of the Premier Volleyball League scheduled to be held on Friday 15^th December 2018 at the indoor court of Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club.

The team’s star Adel Mohammed Al Bloushi stressed that the team is ready to go for the coming match. “We are determined to change the team’s image and compensate our loss in the final match of the President’s Cup against Al Nasr.”

Al Bloushi hailed the efforts of the coaching team and the plans they set up for each match, in addition to correcting mistakes committed during the recent matches.

Adel also commended his teammates’ efforts in terms of being disciplined, executing the head coach’s plans and performing well in the team’s match to keep the team’s great record of victories.

Al Ain First Handball Team took up again their training sessions in preparation for the coming confrontation against Al Wasl as part of matchweek 4 of Primer Handball League. The match is scheduled to be held at the indoor court of Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club.

The team’s star Abdullah Al Marzouqi stated that the players are fully ready for the coming clash match and determined to go on the victories track stared by winning Al Dhafra and be at the top spot of the standing table.

“We deal with all our matches as they are finals and we do try our best to win them and to strictly comply with all the head coach’s instructions and plan,” he signed off.

Al Ain First Volleyball Team achieved a new record victory by defeating Al Wahda Team by 3-0 effortlessly in matchweek 2 o the UAE Volleyball League. The match was held at the indoor court of Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club.

The Boss did not find it difficult to finish the match in their favour as the first round ended by 25-19. The second and third rounds ended by the same result 25-13. By this win, Al Ain tops the standing table with 6 points in their balance.

It is scheduled that Al Ain will host Al Nasr on Friday 14th December 2018 at the indoor court of Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club.

Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has hailed the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to increase representation of the Emirati women in the Federal National Council (FNC) to 50 percent as the coming parliamentary term.

In his remarks on the occasion, Sheikh Hazza said that the directives mirror the wisdom of the UAE leadership to empower women and enhance their participation in the society.

He added, ” I congratulate H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) “Mother of the Nation” on this pioneering step to empower women and congratulations for every Emirati women and for all of us on this new achievement.”

Al Ain Men’s Handball Team thrashed Al Wahda Team by 23-13 in the matchweek 3 of the Handball Premier League held at the indoor court of Al Ain Club.

Al Ain dominated all the details of the match and finished the first half by 13-7. On the restart, the stars of the Boss went on their control of the match and ended it by 10-goals gap.

The team is scheduled to play against Al Wasl on Tuesday at the indoor court of Al Ain Club as part of round 4 of the league.

Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has said that the inauguration of Qasr Al Hosn, the historical and cultural landmark in the heart of the UAE capital, represents a connect between the UAE’s past and present, remaining a witness to the great progress and development of the nation.

Qasr Al Hosn also bridges the gap between the now and the future, in which a world of cultures intertwines, rooted in the wisdom of our forefathers, His Highness added.

Qasr Al Hosn is the oldest and most significant heritage site in Abu Dhabi city, encompassing two iconic buildings: The Inner Fort, which was built around 1795, to protect the settlement of Abu Dhabi established on the island in the 1760s, and the Outer Palace, built in the 1940s. A witness to Abu Dhabi’s vibrant history, over the past two centuries, it has previously been home to the ruling family, the seat of government, the consultative council and the national archives.

Now transformed into a national monument following several years of rigorous and ambitious conservation works, Qasr Al Hosn is a monument that traces the city’s development from a settlement reliant on fishing and pearling in the 18th Century, to a modern, global metropolis. Visitors may also visit the historic National Consultative Council building, site of the early discussions and negotiations on the unification of the emirates.

Al Ain earned an easy 26-12 win over Al Dhafra in matchweek 2 of the Premier Handball League held at the indoor court of Al Ain Club.

Al Ain stars dominated the first half since the kickoff whistle and finished the first half taking the lead by 12-6. In the Second half, Al Ain exerted more pressures and maintained their superiority to finish the match by 26-12.

Al Ain is scheduled to play against Al Wahda on Friday 7th December at the indoor court of Al Ain Club as part of round 3 of the league.

We saw the UAE’s daughters and sons, Sheikh Zayed’s children, raise the UAE’s stature in educational, economic, social, cultural, scientific and sporting fields, and we saw them as the best representatives of our country during the Year of Zayed.”

“Our pride is great as we share, with the world, our cultural icon, the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum, which we saw transforming, last year, into a cultural destination for art, beauty, tolerance and dialogue lovers from all parts of the world. Sheikh Hazza went on to say, “We cannot forget that moment when a group of our best youth manufactured and launched KhalifaSat, a remote sensing Earth Observation Satellite, which is a living example of our scientific and technological ambitions. We also cannot forget the UAE passport’s progress and attaining a leading stature, which reflect the respect and appreciation that our children have in the world.”

He said, “We are proud of our Armed Forces and its brave soldiers for their honourable actions in the fields of honour and right. We are also proud of our wise leadership, who established the foundations of our future economy, and our efforts to shift from an oil-based economy to one based on sustainable development, diversification and soft power, transitioning to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.”
