Al Ain loses against Al Jazeera in exciting game in the Handball League

Al Ain Men’s Handball Team lost his confrontation against Al Jazeera by 28 to 29 in the match held in the covered hall at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi in the ninth round of the Handball League.
The first half witnessed strong competition between both teams and ended by a draw 14/14. The excitement returned again and the fun lasted until the last few minutes of the encounter when luck smiled to Al Jazeera who snatched to winning goal shortly before the end of match whistle.
Al Ain will host the Al Wasl Club on 15th April at the covered hall in Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium.

Al Ain volleyball wins Hatta 3-2

Al Ain Men’s Volleyball Team achieved an important victory against their host, Hatta Club, in the final round of the Volleyball Championship General League with three games in return for two rounds by the end of the match held in the hall of the Al Dahra in Hatta.
The match witnessed  a strong competition since the beginning where the host team finished the first half and the second in their favor by 25/20 and 26/24. Then, Al Ain placed first in the standing came back to win the third by 25/22, and they continue to their enthusiasm and won the fourth game by an enormous difference of to win it by 25/13. As a result, both teams played the fifth and final game and the Burble Team was able to win it by 15/12. By this great victory, Al Ain increased his points to be 41 points and maintained their position at the top of the standing.
Al Ain has a deferred match against Al Ahli on April to be held on 11th April 2017 due to Al Ahli’s participation in the GCC Championship in Qatar. Then Al Ain will play in the final stages of “play off” to determine the winner of the title.

Al Ain still top of volleyball league after win over Al Nasr

Al Ain volleyball team secured the top position of the league after a 25-12, 26-24, 25-23 win over Al Nasr.

The two teams had great performance in the 90 minute game that was played at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.

After the victory, Al Ain reached 39 points, securing a place in the play-off, while the second place is secured by Al Shabab with 37 points. The Garden City Club will have an away match against Hatta in the next round on April 7.

Al Ain Coach Ahmed Mostafa had Khaled Mahmoud, Serbian Player Vladimir, Jamal Hamad, Khamis Abdullah, Mohamed Salem Al Bady, Abdullah Ali Seif and Mohamed Fairuz.

AL AIN STILL TOP OF VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE AFTER WIN OVER AL WASL

Al Ain volleyball team secured the top position of the league after a 25-20, 25-22, 25-23 win over Al Wasl.

The two teams had great performance in the game that was played at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.

After the victory, Al Ain is still at the top of the league, securing a place in the play-off.

Al Ain Egyptian Coach Ahmed Mostafa had Khaled Al Hosni, Abdullah Ali Seif, Khamis Abdullah Al Baloushi, Adel Mohamed Al Baloushi, Adel Ateeq Al Baloushi, Mubarak Khalifa Al Naumi, Mohamed Suliman Al Dhaheri , Jamal Hamad Al Shamsi, Salim Jawhar AL Kaabi, Saeed Al Habsi, Mohamed Salim Al Badi and Walid Thani in the game line-up.

AL AIN SG CHAIRMAN CONGRATULATES SHEIKH HAZZA BIN ZAYED OVER WINNING JIU-JITSU TITLE

Chairman of the board of Al Ain Sports Games Company Khamis Obaid Al Kaabi has congratulated His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Vice-president of the executive board and of the honorary board of Al Ain and Chairman of Board of Directors of the Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club over winning the UAE President Jiu-jitsu Cup.

In statement, Al Kaabi hailed the accomplishments of Al Ain different teams, pointing out that such success was achieved due to the generous care and support of HH Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the founder of the success strategy.

He also congratulated Al Ain Jiu-jitsu players for clinching the title and having great performance. Al Kaabi also hailed the fans of Al Ain.

The chairman praised the efforts exerted by the board members of Al Ain Sports Games Company, the administrative and coaching teams and all the affiliates to the company. He asserted that such efforts directly contributed to achieving the best results of Al Ain’s Jiu-jitsu team.

The board of Al Ain Sports Games Company is committed to achieve its strategic goals in each season, by having strong performance to secure titles and be the best while playing in the name of the UAE in the regional and continental tournaments, Al Kaabi said.

Al Ain beats Al-Ahli 3-0

Al Ain achieved its sixth consecutive triumph in the Men’s Volleyball League Championship following beating Al-Ahli 3-0 on Friday 13th January 2017 during the match held at the Al Ain Club Hall at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium.
It was an easy match for the Boss and the team was able to win in three successive games. The results were as follows: (18-25), (25-16) and (25-18). This result enhanced the position of the Boss to be at the top of the standing with a total of (18) points.

Al Ain exits Handball Competition

Al Ain was deposed of the UAE Vice-Presidents’ Handball Cup after their 21-19 loss to Al Shabab today evening at Al Shabab Club in Dubai following their loss of the first half 7-11.
Al Ain’s lineup included Ahmad Salem, Mubarak Abdurrahman, Ibrahim Al Bloushi, Abdulla Omar, Abdulla Abdurrahman, Zayed Messfer, Hazza Khalifa, Ahmad Basweid, Mohamed Al Marbouei, Saeed Khalfan, Humeid Khalfan and Khalid Rashid.

Ainawi Membership Card launched in 2nd Season

HBZ Stadium Shortlisted to WAF Award

Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, the official playground of Al Ain Sports Club, continues to receive international accolades for being one of the elite sports and architectural marvels in the United Arab Emirates and the world as well. The stadium has been recently nominated to 7th edition of the World Architecture Festival Awards, the world’s largest event of its kind that recognizes excellence and innovation in iconic architectural designs to be held in Singapore in 4th – 6th November, 2015.

HBZ Stadium was shortlisted for the Completed Sports Building category award along with Aledaide Oval Football & Cricket Stadium, Australia; Fisht Olympic Stadium, Russia; Lidingövallen Stadium, Sweden and London Aquatics Center, UK. For 2015 edition, WAF received 46 submissions competing in 31 categories. Winners will be announced on the last day of the event.

Train Al Ain to launch alongside hospital’s Diabetes Awareness Initiative

The National Health Insurance Company – Daman has launched on Saturday, 14 November Train Al Ain event in Hazza Bin Zayed stadium, which coincided with the start of Al Ain Hospital’s Diabetes Awareness Initiative.

Nearly 500 participants walked around the Hazza Bin Zayed stadium as part of Train Al Ain’s kick-off event to raise awareness about diabetes, and also mark the launch of Al Ain Hospital’s new initiative.

The partnership between Daman, Al Ain Hospital and Hazza Bin Zayed stadium seeks to raise the community’s awareness that 30 minutes of brisk walking every day, can reduce the risk of developing diabetes. Participants will walk their way to better fitness in the inspiring and world class facilities of the home of Al Ain Football Club – the Hazza Bin Zayed stadium.

Train Al Ain is an expansion of Daman’s highly successful ActiveLife’s successful weekly events which includes Train Yas and Go Yas in Abu Dhabi, and Train Dubai in Dubai.

The event which will be held every Monday starting Nov 23rd from 6-9 pm, is free of charge for everyone, and is organized by the National Health Insurance Company – Daman with the support of Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, which is an architectural landmark , and one of the most sophisticated sports facilities in the region.

Train Al Ain is part of a series of events organised by Daman’s award winning ActiveLife initiative. Al Ain Hospital will also offer free diabetes screening on Sunday, 15 November at its premises.

According to the International Diabetes Federation, 19 per cent of the UAE’s population has diabetes. The National Agenda for World Class Healthcare in the UAE’s Vision 2021 seeks to reduce this figure to 16.3 per cent by 2021.
