He said: “To be crowned with the President’s Cup is the result of the support of the club management, hard work of the Board of Directors and the around-the-clock efforts of the players and the technical staff who worked hard during the last season and were able to clinch the double championships to be added to the record of Ainawi achievements.” He added: “We were planning to win the three titles of the season, but we missed the good luck when we played against Bani Yas, and I do apologize for our loyal fans for not being able to put our hands on the trophy of the league for the third year in a row. However, we do not have to forget our joy by this achievement and the return of the precious trophy to our cabins following a long period of time that extended for 22 years.”

Maj. Gen. Mohammed Khalfan Al Romaithi, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports, crowned Al Ain Volleyball Men’s Team as Champions of the President’s Cup following the team’s great victory over Hatta Volleyball Team by 3-1 in the final match held at the indoor court of Al Nasr Club in Dubai.
Remarkably, the “Boss” has been able to put their hands on the sixth title of the President’s Cup in the Club’s history after a prolonged absence of 22 years, specifically in the season of 95/96.
Al Ain deservedly won the majority of the championship’s awards, namely: The Sportsmanship Spirit Award and the Fair Play Award. Additionally, AL Ain’s Majid Thani won the Best Setter Award and Al Ain’s Mohammed Suleiman was awarded the Best Libero Award. Following that, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports “Patron of the Coronation Ceremony” honoured Al Ain’s players with the Championship Shield and gold medals.

In an enthusiastic match, the stars of Al Ain Volleyball Men’s Team were able to qualify to the final match of the President’s Cup achieving a stunning victory over Al Jazira by 3-2 in the match held at the indoor court of Al Nasr Club in Dubai.
It is scheduled that Al Ain is to meet Hatta Team in the final match of the President’s Cup on Friday 25th April 2018.
Al Ain’s stars dominated the first and second round and won them by 25-19 and 26-24 respectively. Al Jazira turned the table and leveled with Al Ain in the third and fourth rounds. However, Al Ain players’ experience helped them to regain the lead and smash the opponent in the fifth round by 16-14 and to qualify to the final match.
H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, on Sunday praised the atmosphere of the 29th Arab Summit held in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
In his tweet posted on his official account, Sheikh Hazza stated: “In Dhahran and under the patronage of King Salman, a historic Arab summit unites the word and chart the future path in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and a brilliant success for the Gulf Shield Joint Exercise 1 in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.”

Al Ain Volleyball Men’s Team has qualified to the semifinal match of the President’s Cup following wining Ajman by 3-1 in the match held at the indoor court of Al Jazira Club in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday 13th April 2018.
The Ainawi stars were able to win the three rounds by 25-15, 25-13, 25-18 while Ajman won only one round by 25-21.
Al Ain team is scheduled to meet Al Jazira in the semifinal match on Friday 20th April in Al Nasr Club in Dubai.
Al Ain swimmers won the Juniors’ Cup in the overall standing of the juniors’ category during the competitions of the Junior International Winter Swimming Tournament assigned for general and junior swimmer. The tournament held during 30-31 March and 6-7 April 2018 at Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai.
Al Ain participated in the tournament competitions with different age categories and succeeded in achieving the first place in 12 years category after winning 5 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze medals. The 16 years team won the first place after winning 13 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals. As for the 14 years team, they were placed second by winning 1 gold, 10 silver and 6 bronze medals.
The swimmer Hamad Ahmed Khalfan won the Best Swimmer Cup in 50 meters butterfly race for the 12-year competitions. Also, swimmer Ahmed Abdullah Al Aidarous won the BEST SWIMMER CUP for the 16-year competitions in 50 meters chest. Al Ain swimming coach, Sharif Zakaria, was awarded the Best Coach Cup.
