In cooperation with Abu Dhabi Police “Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department”, Al Ain Club has organized an educational lecture titled “Smart Services with a Future Vision” at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. The lecture was delivered by NOC Talal Awad Al Jabri from the Strategy and Institutional Development Department.
The lecture focused on four main themes: the implementation of the government’s smart initiative to provide services to the public launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and the visions of the Abu Dhabi Police and Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department and goal of the visit.
The lecturer addressed many important points as to the applications of the police services on the smart devices, which included issuing and renewing the driver’s license and ownership, reporting traffic and blocking parking lots, application of lost keys and registration in the application “We are all police” and many other valuable services available in the application that serve the public. The lecturer also answered all the attendees’ questions.
The attendees included: Eng. Khaled Al Derei, Operations Manager and from Abu Dhabi Police Col. Matar Obeid Al Dhaheri, Deputy Director of Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department in Al Ain, Lieutenant Colonel Sultan Al Ka’abi, Head of Vehicle Licensing Section and Major Hamdan Bin Diban, Head of Public Relations Branch at Al Ain Traffic Department.
At the end of the lecture, the commemorative shields were exchanged.
H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, hailed the selection of the two Emirati referees, Mohammed Abdullah Hassan and Mohammed Ahmed Yousif, as part of the referees team of World Cup Russia 2018.
H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed posted on his official account on Twitter on Monday: “The selection of UAE referees Mohammed Abdullah Hassan and Mohammed Ahmed Yousif, to be part of the referees team of 2018 World Cup in Russia, is a milestone of the UAE sport. We all are fully confident that they will hoist the name of the UAE high and will be the best ambassadors of the UAE football, as well as reflecting UAE’s level of professionalism in this filed.”
Noteworthy, FIFA did announce the selection of Match Referee Mohamed Abdullah Hassan along with the Assistant Referee Mohammed Ahmed Yousef.as part of the team of referees of the World Cup Russia 2018.
Match Referee Mohammed Abdullah is the second Emirati referee after the former Emirati referee Ali Bu Juseem to be selected to manage the matches the World Cup. Additionally, former assistant referees Issa Darwish and Saleh Marzouqi participated to run matches of the World Cup.

Khamis pointed out that the preparation for this tournament kicked off since the end of the first competition last year. He expressed his deep pleasure by highlighting reasons behind winning the title for the second time by saying: “Intensive training sessions were held, in addition to the participation of all players in home and away tournaments.”
Al Ka’abi confirmed that the next stage will witness the development of Jujitsu in Al Ain Club by contracting with an experienced technical manager who will develop future plans and programs that will contribute to enhancing the game by attracting students of public schools located in Al Ain.
H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, President of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, crowned Al Ain Club with the title of the second edition of the President’s Cup of Jujitsu, which concluded today at Mubadala Arena at Zayed Sports City. The “Boss” topped men’s and women’s following winning 958 points collected through winning 40 colored medals and as follows: 21 gold, 10 silver and 9 bronze medals. By this result, the “Boss’” total point turned to be 3,776 points with a gap of 841 points from the nearest rival.
The final rounds were attended by H.E. Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, H.E. H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has congratulated H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, on Mother’s Day which falls on 21st March every year.

Al Ain Volleyball Men’s Team has qualified for the final match of the Volleyball Premier League following beating Shabab Al Ahli Dubai for the second time in the second leg match of the playoff round by 3-1. The match was held at the indoor court of Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club.
Al Ain team dominated the first round and finished it taking the lead by 25-19. The same scenario happened in the second round where Al Ain won it by 28-26. The third round witnessed the awake of the guests who won it by 25-19, but Al Ain team turned the table and were able to win the fourth round by 25-19.
Noteworthy, Al Ain Volleyball Men’s Team won the first leg match by three clean rounds.
By this result, Al Ain will be meeting Bani Yas Volleyball Team in the final first leg match on Tuesday 27 March 2018. The match is scheduled to be held at the indoor court of Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club, while the second leg match will be held on 30th March 2018 at Bani Yas Club.

H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, said on Saturday that the inauguration of 9th Regional Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi is a global event that will consolidate the UAE’s position in the sports and humanitarian fields.
“We witnessed the opening of the 9th Regional Games of Abu Dhabi Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi, a global event that establishes the UAE’s position in sports and humanitarian fields together,” said Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his official Twitter account. “It is Zayed’s dream which he nurtured and supported by Mohammed bin Zayed since its early days until it becomes a reality in the “Year of Zayed”. Al Ain Men’s Volleyball Team has won the home team, Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, by three clean rounds in the playoff first leg match of the Premier Volleyball League held in the indoor court of the former Al Shabab Club in Dubai.
The first round witnessed a sturdy and strong competition by the two teams, but Al Ain squad was able to win it by 36-34. In the second round, Al Ain was decisive and won it by 25-19 in their favor and the stars of the team ensued their stunning performance and won the third round by 25-20 and won the match by three clean rounds.
Al Ain squad is seeking to pursue the victories track and ensure arriving to the final match of the Premier Volleyball League when they host Shabab Al Ahli Dubai in the in the playoff second leg match on Tuesday 20 March 2018 at the court of Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club.
