H.H. Sheikh Hazza posted a tweet via his official tweeter account stating: “We are confident that ADNOC team’s efforts will ensure best utilisation of the Oil & Gas wealth, diversify resources and reinforce the UAE’s positioning in the energy sector,”
ADNOC said on Sunday it had launched a new unified brand for its Group of Companies under the theme of “One Vision, One Identity, One Family” that will serve the prevalent unification process of UAE’s largest national institution.

The goalkeeper of Al Ain Handball Team and UAE National Handball Team Ahmad Salim praised the team’s superior quality they exhibited against Al Jazeera in the third round of the Handball Premier League following the Saturday’s victory 21-18 in the match held at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club.

“Our focus was to win the match against Al Jazeera to compensate our loss against Al Sharjah,” said the Star of the Match. He added, “We have to go back to victories track and move forward in the standing table and catch up with the current leading team.”

Al Ain’s Handball Men Team advanced to the second position in the sanding table of the Handball Premiere League after beating Al Jazeera 21-18 at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium Court at Al Ain Club in the competition week 3.

Al Ain team was able to take the lead fervently since the kickoff whistle of the first half to finish it by 10-6. The team maintained their lead in the second half with the fight spirit and skills of their goalkeeper Ahmed Al Khulaifi, who was the star in dealing with the opponent’s attacks and contributed significantly to the victory of his team ending the match by 21-18.

By this result, Al Ain won 7 points and placed second directly behind Sharjah by two points difference. Next Saturday, 21st October which marks week 4 of the League, the Boss will play against Al Nasr in Dubai.

Al Ain Volleyball Men Team qualified for the finals of Vice-President Cup following beating Ajman by three clean rounds in the match held on Saturdy at Al Jazeera Club Court in Abu Dhabi.

Al Ain did a great job and it was easy for them to finish the first round by 25- 16 and the second round by 25-18, ending the match by winning the third round by 25-22.

Argentina’s Head Coach Joseph squad included: Mohammed Shamal, Abdullah Saif, Majed Thani, Khamis Abdullah, Serbs’ Vladimir, Mohammed Salem, Rashid Al Azizi, Saeed Ali, Adel Atta, Salem Jowhar, Hazza Salem and Mohammed Suleiman.

Al Ain Men Volleyball Team is getting ready for Ajman confrontation scheduled to be held on Friday evening at Al Jazeera Club Court in the semi-finals of His Highness the Vice President Cup.

Al Ain Team held their last training session at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium of Al Ain Club supervised by the Argentina’s Head Coach Joseph who focused on certain tactical techniques of attack and defense.

“Tomorrow’s match will not be easy, especially that Ajman Team has skillful players in sending off serves and spiking,” said the Head Coach. He added, “We will do our best to counter their dangerous attacks by being highly focused and fully alert during the whole match. ”

Commenting on a question on the team’s absences, he said: “We are ready for the match following the recovery of the Serb’s professional Vladimir, who was suffering from a shoulder injury. He stands ready for the coming match and hope that we are going to be quite lucky to move forward to the final match.”

Al Ain Handball Men Team is over and done with their preparations to face Al Jazeera in the match scheduled to be held in the evening of this Saturday at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium Court at Al Ain Club as part of the League’s week 3.

The Tunisia’s Head Coach Mohamed Abu Ghazaleh supervised the final preparations of the team for the coming important confrontation where he focused on particular techniques of distributing efforts, developing attacks and enhancing the back line.

Ibrahim Al Baloshi of the Handball First Team said: “The confrontation will not be easy and we aspire to improve the team’s image after losing to Sharjah in the last round.”

Egypt, the record seven-time African champion, has suffered several heart-breaking defeats since it last qualified for the World Cup in 1990.

An injury-time penalty from Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah ensured Egypt victory over Congo 2-1 on Sunday to move into an unassailable position at the top of their group with one match still to complete.

Al Ain volleyball player Mohammed Shamal has praised the team for the efforts exerted in the game against Bani Yas, giving the Garden City Club the three points and the qualification to the semi-finals of the Vice President Cup.

The player said that the game was not easy, especially that Bany Yas groups very good players who compete for all tournaments this season.

Shamal added that the players were determined to win the game and continue the victory journey.

The semi-final game against Ajman will not be easy, as the Ajman players are very experienced, Shamal said, stressing that the Boss players should be very focused to clinch the title.

The Al Ain first volleyball team has qualified to the Vice President Cup After defeating Bani Yas 3-1 in the third leg of the Group A, played at Al Wasl Club in Dubai.

The Boss won the first half 25-7, was defeated 12-25 in the second half and won the third and fouth halves 25-20 and 25-16 respectively.

The team coach preferred to give a rest to the Serbian professional player Vladimir who suffers from a shoulder injury, however, the team managed to perform great and qualify to the semi-final.

The Garden City Club is expected to play against Ajman in the semi-finals on October 13.
