The “Cultural Morning Session” included various programs

19.Dec.2021

The agenda started with the interactive session between the club’s staff and the star guest of Al Ain Club, Abdullah bin Haider, who responded to the audience inquiries and questions with spontaneous responses, as usual.

Such reactions boosted the attendees’ desire to participate in the family dialogue.

Bin Haidar revealed unlimited details of the Emirati film.

By the end of the session, Bin Haidar was presented the Club’s shield and the official jersey of the Boss.

The “Cultural Morning Session” agenda also included entertainment programs, competitions and prizes presented by the club, Mohammed Rasoul Khoury Group, and a Boutique Perfume. The attendees toured the historical house listed in the World Heritage Sites and briefed on the story of the Mohammed bin Khalifa House, its development, and the changes that occurred in the surrounding area over the past sixty years.

Everyone lived an interactive experience that narrates the “life and era of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa” and his biography. They were briefed and discovered the architectural aspects of the house.

Additionally, they enjoyed various musical works produced by artists famous at the time of the construction of the house, namely the Emirati poet Aousha Al Suwaidi, nicknamed “The Girl of the Arabs”, the Emirati singer Ali bin Rogha, and Om Kulthum. They enjoyed listening to a collection of stories told by the elderly residents of Al Ain. All of these stories revolve around their lives and businesses in the region over decades.

Abdullah bin Haider expressed his deep appreciation to Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club for hosting him in one of the pleasing historical landmarks in Al Ain. He stated: “It is not a secret to tell you all that today I have visit the house of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa, which has gone through stages of restoration. Indeed, the dedicated efforts of the Department of Culture and Tourism is clear by adopting the best international methods to come up with such a remarkable landmark.”

Commenting on a question about his opinion about the artist revealing his sports taste and favor and whether this has an impact on his popularity, he said: “In my opinion, the artist’s loyalty to a certain sports club should be respected as the artist respects all sports entities. I am here to announce I am a “Shergawi” fan and I disclosed this in several occasions. Meanwhile, I emphasize my love and appreciation to Al Ain and Al Wasl clubs. I don’t see any problem with that.”

Regarding his feelings at the moment of crowning Al Ain with the title of AFC Champions League 2003, he said: “Absolutely, I was so pleased and my happiness is indescribable at the time along with anyone who loves UAE football. That day is a milestone in the history of Al Ain Club when the Boss brought the joy to the whole nation. It is until this day we remember those moments with pride and honor, especially since the “Boss” played and overcome tough competitors. We all are happy that Al Ain is back to normal this season. Al Ain presence in the league of an added value to the competition.”

As for the problem faced by the UAE national team, he said: “It is not a single problem! In my opinion the main problem is in the system. I am not prejudiced against the players, but I do not accept the idea of a player undergoing one training session during the whole day, in light of the professionalism era. Is it a problem if there are two training sessions? Clubs could sort it out and the same applies to the players. Players are the basis of any professional team, and I do not blame only the teams’ management.”

He signed off by pointing out that he believes that an hour and a half is not enough to prepare a professional player for local competitions and “international” challenges.
