Al Ain Club Archery Team were placed third in group competitions in the 4th Arab Women Sports Tournament hosted by the Emirate of Sharjah during 2-12 February 2018.

The participation of Al Ain’s team is the first at the regional level which includes a number of clubs and Arab national teams. Al Ain team has been able to achieve the third place through its three players: Ghalia Bader Al Bloushi who collected 484 points, Alia Bader Balochi 444 points, and Wadha Ahmad Al Shamesi with 370 points under the supervision of the head coach, Amira Nader.

H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, inaugurated the “Tam” system of Abu Dhabi Unified Government Services that is considered to be the first of its kind in the region, aiming to achieve a radical and paradigm transformation in the provision of government services in Abu Dhabi emirate.

“Today, we move towards achieving the vision of the future government services in Abu Dhabi and we continue our journey with determination to lay the foundations of new standards of excellence to benefit the community of Abu Dhabi,” Sheikh Hazza said.

Promoting Economic Environment

The “Tam” platform is in line with the vision of Abu Dhabi government’s aim of facilitating the lives of the residents and providing them with all the means of success as well as promoting the economic environment in the emirate.

The platform will also allow all its customers, whether UAE citizens, residents, visitors or investors, to obtain a comprehensive range of government services through one combined portal at any time and place, without the need to visit government authorities or their websites, through a smart application, the e-portal or “Tam” branches to enrich the experience of customers and provide an easy and convenient experience.

Customers will be able to take unique browsing experience either through digital platforms or by visiting Tam’s branches which are comprehensive terminals to provide customers with smooth and convenient experience for the client.

Advanced Techniques

Inspired by the theme of the falcon nest, these branches will offer customers an inspiring and innovative environment that employs advanced technology to enable visitors to communicate, work, study and complete a full range of government services through dedicated platforms within the facility itself and receive full support offered by the professionals.

The Abu Dhabi Government created a prototype of the platform in Yas Mall, with the aim of introducing the system to customers and receiving suggestions and comments about the ambitious project.

Sheikh Hazza launched the system today and inspected the prototype while accompanied by Jassem Mohammed Bouatabeh Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, who briefed him about the project and its role in promoting customer experience of local government services.

Al Ain’s Ju-Jitsu delegation arrived in homeland on Monday 5th February following their participation in Europe Continental Pro Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2018 held in Russia’s capital, Moscow, during 3-4th February 2018.

Al Ain’s champs were able to pick a total of 10 medals: 7 gold and 3 silver in their participation in the championship which has been described as a successful, effective and good chance for them to be introduced to a new experience, particularly abundant teams and academies took part in the championship.

The gold champs of the team who placed first in their categories were: Wadima Yafei, Mahra Al ainaai, Hanaa Al Hanaai, Sabha Al Maamari, Suhail Ismail, Abdul Rahman Al Bloushi and Khaled Al-Shehhi. Players [laced second place winning the silver medals were: Mohammed Al Asri, Meira Al Rashedi and Ouhoud Al Kaabi while Zainab Rashed came in fourth place.

Al Ain succeeded in maintaining the top position of the “President’s Cup for Ju-Jitsu” by the end of 4th round held at the courts of Baynounah Education Complex in Al Dhafra Region dedicated for clubs for 2017/2018 season. Al Ain team managed to move ahead to 2,734 points.

In this round, Al Ain male and female players did well and showed a stunning performance led them to retain the top position. They were able to pick 27 colored medals: 14 gold, 4 silver and 9 bronze medals. The team collected 627 points out f this round to be added to the points of past rounds and to have a total of 2,734 points by 724 points away from the runners up.

Al Ain Volleyball Team achieved a critical victory over Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Volleyball Team by 3 rounds against 1 round in the match held at the indoor court at Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Club as part of the Volleyball Premier League.
Al Ain was able to dominate the math since the kickoff whistle of the first round and to win the opponent by 25-23. Al Ain played the second round with high level of performance and maintained their lead and finished it by 25-20. Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Team came from behind and won the third round by 25-20, but the “Purple” squad were decisive and finished the fourth round in their advantage by 25-22 to win the match by a final result of 3-1.
By this stunning victory, Al Ain moves to 18 points and ready for the next round of the Volleyball Premier League when the team meets Al Jazira in Abu Dhabi on Friday 9th February.

Al Ain Handball Men Team were held to draw in the final round match of UAE Handball against Al Sharjah by 21 goals each. The match was held at Court of Al Sharjah Club. The first half ended by the home team taking the lead by 12-9.

Al Ain Handball Team is making their own arrangements to resume the Premier Handball League being suspended due to away matches scheduled to be played by Al Sharjah and UAE Handball National Team. The “Boss” will be playing against Al Jazira in Abu Dhabi on 17th February.

H.H. Captain of Al Ain Volleyball Team, Mohammed Shamal, expressed his appreciation for all the included the efforts of the Serbian professional Vladimir and the achievements he achieved during his career with the team, especially as a player has a track record of the titles with the teams he played for her, in addition to his great cooperation with fellow players and advise them during games and training . Shaml said that in a short time, Vladimir was able to win the respect and respect of his teammates. He has high morals and is considered one of the best professionals who have played for Al Ain. He is a great player and will not forget what he did during his time at Al Ain. Which he recently suffered hastened his departure from the team, wishing him speedy recovery.

Serb’s professional volleyball player, Vladimir, expressed his appreciation and thanks to Al Ain Management for what they have offered him while playing for the “Purple Fort” stating that “It is not strange for a big club like Al Ain to deal with him with the highest levels of elegance and professionalism.”

Vladimir pointed out: “Al Ain is one of the powerful teams in UAE in the arena of volleyball as its squad includes stunning players and Al Ain management knows well how to create the right motivating atmosphere for the team to snatch titles of all tournaments.”
“Al Ain Volleyball Team is ready to win championships of this season, especially the President’s Cup which the club misses during the last 15 years,” said he.
He concluded by saying, “I wish I had the chance to stay with the team, but injury deprived me from my dream to go on playing for further time to achieve more titles with the dearest team.”

Abdullah Al Darmaki, Vice Chairman of Al Ain Sports Games Club, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Vladimir for his great efforts he exerted while playing for the “Boss” and wishing him all best of success in his career.

He said: “Vladimir is a quality and highly skilled player and it is enough to say well done for a great job he achieved in the past and part of the current season. Indeed, it is his injury he has suffered from recently denied him to go on with his journey with the “Boss”.”

He signed off by saying “The relationship with Vladimir will not be brought to an end of his contract, the clubs doors are open for him at any time. He is an ethical, committed and serious player and we consider him to be one of the sons of the club. We will be waiting for him to visit us gain here in Al Ain.”
