H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, congratulated the UAE and the people of the world on the occasion of the new Islamic Year.
He twitted on his official account, “Best wishes for a New Islamic Year full with hope, success, security, peace and more progress and prosperity for UAE and all the people of the world.”
It is noteworthy that Thursday marks the first day of the Islamic month of Muharram and the beginning of the New Islamic Year 1439, and that Wednesday marks the last day of the month of Dhul Hijja and the Islamic Year 1438.

H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed stated in his official account on Twitter commenting on the occasion of the inauguration of the best youth centre in the world, “Mohammed bin Rashid and Mohamed bin Zayed together inaugurating the best youth centre in the world. The UAE’s success and pioneer leis in its deep belief in the youth and their potentials.”
The Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council wrote, “to support the youth as UAE does means that you have to believe in the future and to care for them means to provide them with the opportunities to realise their expectations and achieve what is beyond the impossible.”

Al Ain Volleyball Men’s Team qualified to the final match of the President’s Cup Competition following defeating Al Ahli Team by 2-1 in the match held in AL Jazeera Club in Abu Dhabi.
Al Ain did not face any difficulty in winning the first match that ends by 25-16 to their favor. However, Al Ahli was able to draw in the second round and was able to win it by 25-23 points. In the third round, the “Purple” was able to win the opponent team and achieve 25-22 and to confirm their eligibility to qualify by winning the fourth round by 25-22.
By this result, Al Ain will meet Al Nasr Team in the final match scheduled to be held on Tuesday 23 May in the court of Al Jazeera Club in Abu Dhabi.
Al Ain qualified for the semi-final round of the President’s Cup of the Volleyball Competition after defeating Al Jazeera by three clean rounds in the second round competitions held at Al Wasl Club court in Dubai.
Al Ain managed to control the match since the outset whistle and Al Ain ended the first round by 25-15 and settled the second round to their favor by 25-22. Al Ain was able to end the third round by the same result in their favor by 25-21.
By this result, the Purple Team has already arrived at the semifinal round to be held on Friday 19th May in Abu Dhabi where they will face Al Ahli Team.
