H.E. Khuwaiter Al Dhahiri, Board Member of Al Ain Sports Games Company and Individual Games Supervisor, dedicated the title of the Vice-President Cup to H.H. Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Council, First Vice President of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, First Vice President of the Honorary Council & Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Cluband all members of the Board of Directors.

On this occasion, H.E. Khuwaiter commended the quality and high level exhibited by Al Ain fighters and the coaching and administrative teams during this tournament.

Noteworthy, the tournament witnessed significant fervent competition among all other clubs, but the determination of the champs of the Boss to win the prestigious title contribute in winning the dearest title, given the fact that Al Ain determined to be always in the forefront and to write its name in the record of the tournament as the first winner of the title. Indeed, this is the trend of the Ainawi team whose intention is always to make their loyal fans and lovers always happy year after year.

H.E. Khamis Obaid Al Ka’abi, Chairman of Al Ain Sports Games Company, congratulated H.H. Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Council, First Vice President of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, First Vice President of the Honorary Council & Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, and all the Ainawi Nation on the occasion of winning the title of the first tournament of Vice-President Cup which has been listed for the first time in the agenda of the UAE Jujitsu Association this season. He stated: “This tournament holds the dearest name of the Vice-President. As it is held for the first time, we did prepare for it in the right manner during the past days. Thanks Allah Al Mighty we were able to put firm hands of the title to be registered in the name of Al Ain Club as the first champ of this tournament. Indeed, this is the trend of Al Ain Jujitsu Team to win titles and cups.”

Al Ka’abi confirmed that there are still upcoming local and international tournaments ahead of the team. “We will be part of other local and foreign competitions and tournaments. We all focus on these coming events with sights set to clinch titles. The first tournament we are paying full attention to win its title is the President Cup. We do wish to maintain the cup in our closets as we usually do through meeting the loyal fans’ expectations and aspirations.”

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum crowned Al Ain Club with the trophy of the Vice-President Cup by the end of the final round of the tournament held at the Nadd Al Sheba Sports Complex in Dubai amidst exceptional fervent competition among 12 local clubs to win one of the dearest national titles.

Al Ain Club was placed first in the tournament with a total of 540 points winning 8 gold, 8 silver and 10 bronze medals. Al Wahda Club was placed second with 342 points winning 5 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze medals. Al Jazira held the third place with 152 points winning 1 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals.

The activities of the final round of the tournament was attended by H.E. Khamis Obaid Al Ka’abi, Chairman of Al Ain Sports Games Company, H.E. Abdullah Al Darmaki, Vice Chairman of Al Ain Sports Games Company, Board Member of Al Ain Sports Games Company and Individual Games Supervisor, Members of the UAE Jujitsu Association and chairmen of the participating clubs.

H H.E. Khamis Obaid Al Ka’abi, Chairman of Al Ain Sports Games Company, raised the trophy of the Vice-President Cup. Al Ain was placed first by the end of round 1and 2 and maintained its sport in the final round to win the title deservedly.

The final round was distributed among 5 playing zones according to “Open Belt Weights” that includes three categories: Above 21 years Men Category, U-21 Youth Category and Junior “U-15, 16 and 17” Category.

The players demonstrated quality and distinct skills in acquiring new play techniques. Indeed, this attracted attention of new emerging skills in this sport.

Al Ain Volleyball Team occupied the top spot of the Volleyball General League when their stars thrashed their opponent, Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Volleyball Team, by three clean rounds in the match held at the indoor court of Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club.

Al Ain squad won the three rounds by 25-15 in a row while the opponent did not react to Al Ain’s domination of the match.

By this victory, Al Ain is placed first in the standing table temporarily by 31 points waiting for the result of the match between Bani Yas and Al Jazira where the later has 30 points and placed second so far.

H.E. Khuwaiter Al Dhaheri, Board Member of Al Ain Sports Games Company, praised the achievement realised by Mohammed Rashid Al Kuwaiti participating in the UAE Swimming Team at the Middle East Juniors Tournament kicked off on Thursday 14th February 2019 at Hamdan Sports Complex.

H.E. Khuwaiter hailed his significant efforts that led him to win the silver medal marking a new achievement in the name of UAE. “This achievement is the culmination of great efforts paid by the swimmer during the pre-preparations and his aspirations to win one of the titles of the tournament.”

H.E. Khuwaiter underlined that Al Ain Club spares no effort in supporting the UAE National Team and to raise the homeland flag with all the pride in each international event they participate in, in addition to fully prepare the Olympic future champs in swimming and other sports.

Al Ain Volleyball stars succeeded to be placed second in the standing table of the General Volleyball League with 28 points their balance following winning Al Nasr Team by 3-0.

Al Ain squad won the first two rounds by 25-17 each. The home team, Al Nasr, tried their best to return the match in the third round but Al Ain players were able to win this final round by 27-25 to finish the match by 3-0.

Al Ain Handball First Team won Al Jazira by 30-27 in the match of Handball League held at the indoor court of Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium on Friday 15th February 2019. Noteworthy, the first half ended by Al Ain taking the lead by 15-12.

In its efforts to educate and further improve the performance of the coaching teams, Al Ain Sports Games Company has organized a workshop under the theme of “Scientific Foundations of Basic Skills Adopted in Sports Coaching”. The workshop was held on Tuesday 12th February 2019 at the lectures hall of the head offices of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium. The workshop was attended by Mr. Ahmed Sultan Al Nuaimi, Sports Director of Al Ain Sports Games Company, Mr. Mohammed Arabi, Director of Individual Games, Mr. Nasr El Dien Hamed, Director of Collective Games and coaches of junior players in collective and individual games.

Mr. Ahmed Sultan Al Nuaimi inaugurated the workshop by underlining the importance of holding such activities as they substantially contribute to the development of training methodologies. “Such workshops introduce the coaching teams to the modern scientific approaches of sports training and their new trends through introducing them to the coaches and the key tasks of coaches in the field of training.” He pointed out that the goal set by Al Ain Sports Games Company is to hold more workshops, seminars and courses this year to develop the appropriate programs and development plans in the field of training of junior teams to achieve the desired goals to be achieved.

Then, Mr. Nasr El Dien Hamed, Director of Collective Games, tackled the educational duties lie within the scope of training, including mastering the motor skills in sports, planning skills and certain developmental duties.

Mr. Mohammed Arabi, Director of Individual Games, presented certain advice to teams’ coaches based on his own past experiences, while commending all the coaches’ cooperation to achieve the desired goals.

Al Ain Jujitsu Team gripped firm hands on the top spot of the three-day Jujitsu Challenge U-18 Championship dedicated for the young and junior players. The competitions of the championship were held at Mubadala Arena indoor court at Zayed Sports City.

The Al Ain champs showed high genuine quality and skills and tops the standing by 1179 points. The Boss stars were crowned by 20 gold medals, 16 silver and 17 bronze medals.

Noteworthy, that this championship is considered the most intensive and the strongest local competition to be held in the current season 2018-2019, considering that 20 clubs and academies took part in with a total 3000 Emirati and UAE residents players.
